I Can, I Can, ICANN Come Up With Some New Domain Suffixes

Stake your claim to internet fame – try to create a new suffix, ICANN seems to be interested in hearing new submissions … I grew sleepy reading this FAQ page which seems to start each answer with … “No, But …”

Here is their forum for discussing gTLDs (generic top-level domains) – oh come on, who can up with that – not only a horrible acronym but why the lower case ‘G’?

This Washington Post article makes it a little clearer.

And of course, Wikipedia comes to our rescue with the 250 GLTD’s in use.
