Optimize your mobile browser using Mdog

Sign up is free to use the mdog.com service. A quick sign up allows you to choose from a rather finite list of web sites by category (news, business, travel, etc.) so when you type them into your mobile browser they will be optimized for displaying their content on the ‘third screen’.

An added bonus is the ability to add your blog to be optimized as well as gaining the ability to post to the blog via your mobile/pda device. Not bad for free.

Most sites come up looking like straight up RSS feeds with just headlines but at least they work on all major cell phone carriers (Verizon, T-mobile, Sprint, Cingular, Alltel, U.S. Cellular) and all smartphones including Blackberry, Palm Treo, Microsoft Mobile, Sidekick, and high end Nokias.

As a former Treo lover, you will benefit from reading the Treonaut blog found here.
