If you like your Pixar CARS flying objects large – boy are you in luck … of course, Big Barney Stormin’ is appearing or soon appearing on your shelf (apparently they were thinking about releasing with a rubber band flying feature but some lawyer managed to take the eye out of another lawyer … OH MY EYE! MY EYE! … so you know how that goes 😉 )
But coming at the beginning of September, are a slew of other CARS flying objects in giant scale including:
AL OFT THE BLIMP
MARCO THE JET
Joining the current and out giant Lightning Storm McQ & the Dinoco Helicopter.
Though the scale of the giantism Mattel CARS don’t seem to follow any real scale so we’ll see if Al Oft or Marco can be displayed with the 1:55 CARS.
There is one curiosity listed among what’s coming – “Mack the Cab.”
Does this mean, they will release a giant Mack (just the front portion?) – it seems to have a different code number than other current Mack’s that are out but it means very little … but it seems likely we’ll get a giant front cab Mack with lights & sounds like the other giantism releases.

Met, I know this does NOT comes under the category of CARS flying object, but I’ve recently bought Mack “shake N Go” which is quite a giant size Mack that comes with Radiator Springs McQueen (shake N Go) V.Cool indeed..this is for my son to play with..NOT the die cast 🙂

Barney Stormin has slightly more screen time than Apple 84 in the movie which is about 2 seconds. You think they would make bigger versions of the more popular characters like Frank.
My son has all the Shake n’ Go Cars and really enjoys them. The Mack Hauler w/ RS McQ does look cool but it would be really cool if Mack was a Shake n’ Go as well.
Barney Stormin looks great! The only giant scale Car I picked up was DJ. I thought he was really well done and he is the only one so far that my son showed any interest in.
Still waiting for a giant Frank! The only larger scale Frank I’ve seen is in a Mega Bloks Playset.

We have most of the Mega Bloks Cars sets. They’re great because they are easy for 3-5 year olds to put together themselves. The cars even stay together pretty well when roughly played with. Best of all, most of the pieces are large enough so they won’t get sucked up in the vaccuum. 🙂
Hey Heather from Maine..The Mack can actually “GO” up to 6 Meters when you “SHAKE” them..you can add this to your coolection 🙂 ..on another note MET: Do you know if they’ll be releasing more Dinoco characters as I am a big supporter of the Dinoco team..the Dinoco hauler, the girls, anymore?
(MET: The Dinoco Girls line is already about 500 guys long … 🙂 … yea, no reason they shouldn’t sell them but nothing scheduled in the next 6 weeks).

Hi Heather, its a shame that Amazon uk is saying it could be up to the 19th august before its available as my sons birthday is 19th july thats why is was trying to get one quick, there is one good thing though and that is i got him a screamin banshee from america so i hope he will be over the moon with that, and to Stanley, many thanks for the offer but we bought a combine harvester for him to use as frank but he is a boisterous lad and has broken many of the little parts off it already, looking at the Megablocks one it looks ideal as he wont really be able to break very easily, i am not a collector of such just to see my son over the moon when he opens the presents at christmas and birthdays or when he,s been very good, hes only going to be four on the 19th so most of his cars are well used, the only ones that will stay sacred are bluray and storm mcqueen.

i got one the big barneys. he is soooooooo cute and my son adores him. when you push his head down the propeller spins and makes plane noises. its pretty cool. cant wait for more. especially mack.
